Peter Hugh Charles Davies.

Born 14th July 1942 son of Brigadier and Mrs L.E.C.Davies M.B.E.
Educated Rugby School.  Served in H.A.C. Rgt.
Employed 1970-75 Courages Brewery. (During that time manager of the company's Dock St Newport Depot)
Has worked since 1975-date in the tea trade as an importer

Political Experience : (Joined the conservative party 1963)
1967-1969 Member Nottingham city Council (representing Radford ward ) Chairman of city of Nottingham young Conservatives. Parliamentary candidate derby
!975-79 Member Ashburton town council (Independent )  Stood down1978 on an issue of principle in dispute with other councillors. Re-elected in the subsequent by-election with a quadrupled majority
1979-2003 held numerous posts in The Conservative party, Including at various times Chairman of  South East Wales area, Newport West Constituency, Stow Hill Ward Branch and Pillgwenlly Ward Branch.
During 1980s Editor of Fleebite the Independent pamphlet dedicated to pointing out home truths about the dismal performance of Newport's Labour Council during that era!
2004 - Member Newport City Council Sevring on (and off!! ) the licencing Committee also O.F.S..Public affairs.

Political Interests:-
Standing up for the interests of my electors against the effects of an uncaring, incompetant,socialist administration run by a dire collection of  labour near  extinct Volcanos, who occasionaly spark briefly back into life with disasterous effects all round!!

Hobbies:-
Rugby football  (member London Welsh R.F.C.) Genealogy, Taking the micky out of pompous officials councillors and red tape creators, Putting wrongs right.
