Presently employed as Facilities manager for a national serviceprovider.

Married to Helen and have two children who attend local schools.

Have lived in Newport for 20 years, moved to Llandevaud in 2000 andattend Llanmartin church.

Elected at my first attempt on 2008 to represent the ward of LlanwernSit on the planning committee.

Member of the overview and scrutiny forum for Economic development andtransport.

I am one of two Conservative Councillors for the Caerleon Ward within Newport City Council.
I grew up in Newport town centre and run a family business servicing commuters in Newport Bus station for the past 50 years.

Having grown up in Griffin Street I am one of the Newport Ship’s nearest neighbours and became heavily involved in the Campaign to save it.

I am now a trustee of the charity – the Friends of the Newport Ship that is dedicated to see the ship preserved and displayed in Newport.

With a love of history I’m delighted and proud to represent Caerleon which I think is the loveliest facet of the City.

I’ve been a past President of the Rotary Club of Newport and have been a member for the past 25 years.

I’m also a past president of Newport’s Chamber of Trade.
For the past 15 years I’ve been involved with taking aid to orphanages in Croatia, Bosnia and Belarus, driving a 7.5 ton truck on some 25 convoys bringing supplies to war damaged and economicaly deprived areas
