I was born in Newport in 1963.
I was educated at Newport High School and South Gwent College of Further Education, Newport.
I also attended University of Wales College in Caerleon as a mature student to study Psychology.
 
Married to Adrian and we have two sons and a daughter (Mark, Matthew and Beth) who all attended Caerleon Endowed Primary School before going on to Caerleon Comprehensive School and local colleges at Newport and Usk.

We have a pub/restaurant in Caerleon (The Red Lion Inn) which we have had since November 2004. (www.redlioncaerleon.co.uk)

I first stood for election in 2008 and was duly elected with an amazing 1324 votes. I would like to use this opportunity to express a very big thank you to all those who voted for me.
