Andrew was newly elected to Newport City Council to represent the Rogerstone Ward on 2nd May 2008.He runs his own Autism Consultancy in the independent sector which includes voluntary work in complex autism.
Andrew’s City Council work includes:
vice-chairmanship of the Licensing Committee
Membership of the Overview and Strutiny forum for Young Peoples Services
Membership of the Overview and Strutiny forum for Housing & Adult Services
Membership of the Standards and Appeals Committees
Newport City Council nominee of Newport City Homes
He is also Deputy Chairman of Rogerstone Community Council
Andrew’s interests include soccer, stamp collecting, rugby union, cricket and ornithology. He is a member of Risca Rugby Football Club and Gwent Autistic Society.
